It can be done. You will need to dimple metal slightly in the driver side footwell and possibly the trans tunnel slightly at the top. The 22R conversion that I saw cut and noched the frame section at the mouth of the trans tunnel so that the motor would sit low enough to clear the hood. Send us a message.
